Dealer Operating Rules and Policies:
DO's
Do open all reserved spaces by 10 a.m. and remain open until 5 p.m. on normal market days. To hold a reservation from week to week you must commit and pay by 6 p.m. each Sunday.
Do have a current sales space receipt on hand and be prepared to present it upon request at all times.
Do have a 5lb. ABC type fire extinguisher in each enclosed sales space at all times.
Do get approval in advance for the sale of any gas powered or electric scooter. A permit is required.
Do comply with all Traders Village regulations concerning the care and sale of animals in the market.
Do get approval in advance from Traders Village and the local Health Department before selling any food product. Any violation of this rule will result in the confiscation of the prohibited items and will subject the dealer to losing his sales space and forfeiting his rental fee.
Do comply with Texas House Bill #749, as it relates to the sale of baby food, drugs and contact lenses.
Do comply with all Federal, State and Local sales laws while on Traders Village grounds.
DON'Ts
Don't drive in the market between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on market days. These hours are based on attendance levels and are subject to change without notice. A 5-mph speed limit prevails unless otherwise marked.
Don't sell or possess firearms or ammo on Traders Village grounds at any time.
Don't sell pornography at Traders Village. All items sold at the market must comply with Traders Village's strict standards to maintain a wholesome family environment.
Don't distribute any political or religious material without the written consent of management.
Don't place electrical cords across walkways, either above or on the ground.
Don't conduct games of chance, skill, raffles, lotteries or auctions without written approval.
Don't broadcast music from a tape, CD, DVD or other source.
Don't sell, display or distribute any merchandise bearing a counterfeit trademark, or infringe upon copyrights.
Don't sell fireworks without first obtaining a permit from the local fire department and permission from Traders Village.
Don't store flammable or hazardous materials inside buildings.
Don't occupy an additional sales space or same space for additional days without a paid receipt in advance.
OPERATING RULES AND POLICIES
We reserve the right to evict any vendor or patron.
No rain checks and no refunds.
Sales spaces may not be sublet, assigned, transferred or used for parking or storage.
Do not park inside market. If not on sales space, vehicles are to be taken to parking lot immediately after unloading.
Merchandise and vehicles that are unattended, unauthorized, and/or abandoned on the property will be disposed of without liability to Traders Village.
Traders Village is not responsible for theft or damage to anything brought onto the premises. Anything left on the property is done so entirely at the person(s) own risk.
Traders Village will assign sales space(s) and the dealer must stay within designated space(s).
Traders Village reserve the right to establish acceptable sound levels.
Traders Village does not accept used tires, produce, produce containers or motorized scooter boxes or containers for disposal.
Signs, storefronts, racks, walls or other construction may not be constructed without written consent of management.
Rental receipt is for dealer's admittance only. Any other use is prohibited. Occupation of a daily space occurs when a dealer and/or dealer's vehicle occupies the sales space(s).
With payment of lease space, the dealer agrees to follow the current operating rules which can change without notice.
