Seasonal
Anyone looking for work should consider a job at Traders Village in a seasonal position. These positions include: grounds keeping, food and beverage, security, office personnel, rides, etc. There are part-time and full-time seasonal opportunities that can grow into longer term positions.
Whether you're a full-time, part-time or seasonal worker, you must meet and comply with all appearance guidelines that make up the Traders Village image:
Appearance Guidelines
Traders Village strives to create a lasting impression on our guests, and your personal appearance is an important part of our success. We expect our employees to enhance our Guests' experience by adhering to the following appearance and grooming standards: (These are general guidelines; additional restrictions may apply in Food Service)
Hair
- Wear a neatly groomed hairstyle.
- Extreme hairstyles such as hair dyed in unnatural colors (highlights are acceptable), tails, and partially shaved heads or eyebrows are not permitted.
- Long hair must be worn away from your face. Hair accessories that compliment your wardrobe are permitted.
- Additional restrictions may apply in Food Service.
Facial Hair
- Facial hair must be well groomed.
- Well-groomed goatees are acceptable; no partial beards. A mustache is permitted provided it does not extend past the corners of your mouth.
- Sideburns must be neatly trimmed, not flared, and should not extend past the middle of the ear.
Make-Up
- Make-up on female employees should be fresh and natural in appearance, and not draw attention to itself. Colors should be complimentary to your skin tone and wardrobe.
Fingernails
- Fingernails should be neatly trimmed and uniform in length, no longer than 1/4" beyond the fingertip for female employees, and no longer than 1/8" beyond the fingertip for male employees.
- Nail polish is acceptable provided it is one neutral color or clear. Chipped nail polish, decals, patterns, or unconventional colors (such as purple, black, blue, neon) are not acceptable.
Jewelry
- One small watch, up to two rings per hand, up to two pieces of jewelry per wrist, up to two necklaces (may not be worn outside of the uniform) and one pair of earrings worn at the bottom of the earlobe, are permitted.
- Earrings should be post-type or clip on and no larger than a quarter (no dangling or hoop earrings).
- No other visible jewelry is permitted.
Miscellaneous
- Visible tattoos on employees working in public guest areas are not permitted.
- Shoes are provided by the employee, and must be solid in color to match your wardrobe.
- Appropriate undergarments must be worn.
- Practice of good physical and oral hygiene is essential.
- And finally... A smile is part of every uniform!
