10th Annual Village Art Car Show
Oct 3rd 2010, Sunday
Traders Village becomes a canvas for rolling works of art as the NW Houston flea market and festival complex hosts the annual Village Art Car Show. See more than 75 vehicles of all sorts painted, pasted and carved into artistic masterpieces on wheels, as Traders Village welcomes the Houston Art Car Klub (HACK), Sunday, October 4th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, under the Red Expo.
Art Cars are a relatively new art form only coming to the forefront in the past 20 years. They all have one thing in common, to take a factory-made automobile or truck and transform it into a personal statement or expression.
Everyone will love the feeling of family and community, plus the color and pageantry of the art car displays, so bring your camera. Come meet the artist and enjoy live music throughout the day.
The market is just minutes northwest of downtown Houston on N. Eldridge Road off of Highway 290. Free to the public, parking $3.
