Traders Village Marketplace, the largest flea markets and festival complexes in Texas, has announced plans to open a new location in San Antonio in late 2010.

To be set on 290-acres at Old Pearsall Road and Loop 410 in southwest San Antonio, the market will feature many of the same elements found at the other two Traders Village locations in Grand Prairie and in Houston - thousands of vendors every weekend, festivals and live concerts, and a wide variety of foods and beverage for all tastes. The San Antonio marketplace will also offer a large self-storage facility and a resort-style RV Park for travelers.

The Forth Worth Star-Telegram has named Traders Village – Grand Prairie the most visited attraction in the Tarrant County, and in Houston, Traders Village has topped the free attractions list of the Houston Business Journal for six consecutive years. The Traders Village Marketplaces posted record attendance in 2008 at both locations, and early indicators are that 2009 will surpass that as Texans continue to look for bargains and treasures, and budding entrepreneurs search for ways to supplement their income.

In addition to the endless shopping opportunities, Traders Village Marketplaces are filled with special events and live entertainment throughout the year. From Native American Pow Wows, chili and barbeque cook-offs, and Cajun Festivals, to Fiestas Patrias celebrations, car shows and concerts, Traders Village is why shopping, festivals and fun were invented®.
