WHO SELLS AT TRADERS VILLAGE?

People starting a new business. People having a garage sale. People looking for another outlet for an existing business. People with hobbies they want to turn into income. Existing flea market dealers. Businesses wanting to move closeout merchandise without having to tie-up costly retail space. In other words, anyone with an idea, a product or creation who wants exposure to a large number of potential customers without high overhead and related expenses of most retail spaces.

HOW CAN I GET A SPACE?

To get a reserved space, call the office starting Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. Your payment is due by 5:00 p.m. the same day.

WHAT TYPE OF SPACES ARE AVAILABLE?

You can rent spaces by the day, weekend or the month.

Covered Expo Spaces:

$23.00 per day
$47.00 per weekend
$199.00 monthly
$224.00 monthly with 8' x 12' Storage Shed
Space Size: 13' wide X 25' deep

Locked Space:

$266.00 per month

Locked Corner Space:

$296.00 per month

Locked Covered Canopy:

$291.00 per month

Tables:

$6.00 each per day, 8' x 3'

RESERVATIONS

WEEKLY RENTAL PROCEDURES
We begin making reservations, for the full weekend, on Monday at 8:30 a.m. (telephone only 210-623-8383. Counter reservations are taken after noon on Monday. Payment due at time of reservation. We accept payments by cash, check or credit card.

DO YOU RENT TABLES?

Yes, $6 per table, per day. They are 8' long by 30" wide.

WHAT ARE THE MARKET OPERATING HOURS?

Traders Village is open every Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

WHAT CAN I SELL?

Dealers can sell anything that does not violate county, state or federal laws or is not on the Traders Village Restricted list.

Restrictions are as follows*:
  1. Food concessions (Traders Village operates food concessions).
  2. Any merchandise, as defined by Traders Village, that is not characteristic of a wholesome family environment.
  3. No distribution of religious or political materials.
  4. Traders Village prohibits the sale, display or distribution of merchandise bearing counterfeit trademarks or that infringe on copyrighted designs or materials.
  5. Sale of fireworks is prohibited. No fireworks may be sold or stored at Traders Village according to the Texas Department of Insurance - State Fire Marshall's Office. This includes "Pop Pops", "Snaps", or any other explosive devices. Anyone in violation of this rule may be subject to arrest or seizure of merchandise.
  6. The sale of firearms and ammunition is strictly prohibited.
  7. The sale of any pornography is strictly prohibited.

DO I NEED A SALES TAX PERMIT?

Yes, Traders Village keeps all market dealers Sales Tax Permits on file for the State Comptroller's Office. If you do not have a Sales Tax Permit, please apply for one at the link below and bring your Sales Tax Permit to our office when you come in to rent space.

HOW DO I GET TO TRADERS VILLAGE?

We are on the south side of Southwest Loop 410 near Old Pearsall Road.

  • From Downtown take I35 South 10 miles to Loop 410 take a right heading north and exit Old Pearsall Rd. u-turn under overpass and the market is on your right.
  • From Seaworld travel east on TX-151 2.3 miles and turn right on Loop 410 heading south 8 miles and exit Old Pearsall Rd. Stay on frontage road until you reach Traders Village on your right.
  • From I-10 turn head south on Loop 410 and exit Old Pearsall Rd. u-turn under overpass and the market is on your right.

The market averages about 1,000 dealers. The fall & spring months are the most active time in the market due to weather conditions being more favorable.
