Cinco de Mayo Celebration
Traders Village will be celebrating Mexico’s 1862 victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla, now called Cinco de Mayo. There will be live music and fun on THREE different stages at Traders Village on Saturday and Sunday, May 5th and 6th. There will be a full afternoon of entertainment and live bands on both days.
The Blue Expo will have two stages and 12 bands over the two days. The Main Stage will feature La Fiera de Ojinaga on Saturday and El Chapo de Sinaloa on Sunday. Featured performers on the Tejano Stage include La Sombra on Saturday and David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales on Sunday. On Saturday from 12-2:00pm the Telemundo personality Andres Cantor will be under the Blue Expo for an appearance.
Under the Big Red Patio both days will be Grupo Union Divina, Balette Florklorico SIMA, Fosforito Clown, and Grupo Primer Amor.
The music starts at 11am under the Blue Expo and 12 noon under the Big Red Patio each day. Watch for details on other great bands planned for this two day Cinco de Mayo Celebration.
Admission to Traders Village is FREE and it’s just $4.00 to park. Traders Village is centrally located in Grand Prairie, Texas just minutes from Six Flags over Texas, off Highway 360 on Mayfield Road.
