January 25th-27th 2019

30th annual BBQ and Chili Cook Off

It’s that time of year again. The 30th annual BBQ & Chili Cook-Off once again returns to Houston’s very own Traders Village. Proceeds from the event will go towards sponsoring scholarships for Cy-Fair ISD Seniors. To date, the Rodeo’s educational commitment has raised over $600,000 in scholarship funds.

The BBQ & Chili Cook-Off will be held on January 26 and 27 from 11 am to 5 pm each day and is open to the public. The Cook-Off features not only the best brisket, pork ribs, chicken, and more – but also includes a margarita and Bloody Mary contest! Interested in competing? Please see flyer below for contact information.

For those looking to relax and enjoy the festivities, BBQ and chili will be sold on site, so come hungry. And don’t forget about the other fun; Houston’s largest indoor market, offering amusement park-style rides (get your wristband for unlimited rides for $9.99 plus tax!), food and drinks for sale, and some of the most eclectic and exciting shopping Texas has to offer.
