Rey Feo: Kings & Queens ‘Diez y Seis de Septiembre River Parade’

The Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation announces the first-ever Mexican Independence Day River Parade.

It’s called the KING & QUEENS ‘Diez y Seis de Septiembre RIVER PARADE

Parade Starts at 8:00 pm

They will have the help of a wide cast of characters because this new river parade with very brightly lit floats will feature a number of different superheroes.   There will be Thor, Spider Gwen Stacy and Ironman. And cosplayers too.

Join Traders Village as we sponsor the Captain America Float: (Get Ready because coming to the Traders Village Comicon Nov. 2 & 3 will be the ORIGINAL Captain America — REB BROWN)

A big part of the parade aimed at kids and families because it’s all about raising money for scholarships.

Something the Rey Feo foundation has been doing since 1947 – it’s given away more than 8 million dollars in scholarships.

Johnny Gabriel, Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation said, “This year the Rey Feo Scholarship program gave 200 scholarships, $400,000. This parade means that we can raise more than 200 scholarships. We can give maybe 500. We can give a million a year…”

Mexican Independence Day or Diez y Seis de Septiembre is literally the 16th of september, but since that falls on a Monday this year, the parade will take place Saturday, September 14th this year.
